Utah is considered a desert, so it is very important to stay hydrated. When I first moved here I would get a bunch of headaches and my skin was breaking out. Someone suggest that I start drinking a ton of water. I listened and finally my skin started to clear up a bit and my headaches became less frequent. From then on I have had my water bottle attached to me everywhere I go.
Recently I have been becoming bored with just water and noticing myself ordering soda at dinner or buying sugary juices at the grocery store. The other day I discovered the deliciousness of fruit infused water. It is very yummy and also still healthy. It can be a great alternative to sugary juices or sodas. I went out and bought a big jug for my fridge and can’t wait to start getting creative and coming up with different recipes. I also have a fruit infused water bottle so I can take it with me on the go.
There are also great health benefits that come with drinking fruit infused water. For example there are good nutrients consumed that you might not get if you just stick to water. Also the water is filled with antioxidants which are great for aging. It is also good for the skin just in general.
I am always trying to find ways to improve my health and will continue to share them with you! Spring & Summer is quickly approaching and its always fun to make yummy chilled drinks. I will be uploaded more drink recipes over the next two seasons. Stay hydrated!
