Spring Transitions

February 27, 2016

I wore these shoes in my post yesterday. If you love these shoes but aren’t sure what to wear them with, now you have two choices! These can be found Here. (I LOVE 14th & Union!)

I thought I would switch it up and buy some gorgeous tulips instead of white roses this week. I heart them!

I found this whole outfit (minus the Tory Burch bag) at Nordstrom Rack. If you are like me, a college student on a budget then you need to check out your local Nordstrom Rack. They have amazing clothes and shoes for a great price. Some might think the stuff there is sooo last season but who cares?! I have found some of my favorite pieces there!

This outfit is great for a transition into spring. It can be a tricky transition because I always feel like I am dressed with too many layers or not enough. I layered a long dress with a long sweater so it is still warm but looks springy. I also think this length of dress looks great with little wedges. Ones that are not too short or too high. The shoes are very comfortable and easy to walk in which is a major plus!

One thing my friends loved about this dress on me was it made me look like I actually had some decent hips. I am a pretty petite woman so I took it as a compliment. For any petite girls out there this dress will look great on you! You can find it Here

The sweater can be found Here

Tips for Transitioning into Spring

1.Ditch your heavy weight jacket and start wearing a medium weight one.

2.Start adding more pops of color little by little. This can be a handbag, shoes, or even a fun nail polish color.

3.Long maxi dresses for sunny afternoons. I love how these keep my legs warm!

4.Short booties instead of tall boots or UGG boots which seem to be a staple in every girls closet during the winter months

5.A great pair of sunglasses to complete your look.
